My sweet angel is 15 months old! I have no idea how I have a toddler now. She is such a sweet blessing. She keeps us laughing, and on our toes! Some updates on the angel:
Teeth: WOW!! Teething is rough! She is cutting a molar on her top right side, the one on the bottom right is all the way through. She is also cutting a molar on the bottom left side. Did I mention teething is rough?
Tricks: Her new favorite thing is to do a back flip out of my lap. She also loves sitting in stuff, doesn't matter if it is a box or a basket.
Eating: The biggest update is that she is eating with a spoon! She makes a huge mess, but she's got to learn somehow!
Sleeping: Sleeping is still going well. She goes down about 7 and sleeps until 6:30ish. That's right, she's sleeping later these days. She takes one nap a day, basically like clockwork, at 10:30.
Talking: The girl can talk! She will basically repeat anything you tell her to say, if she's in the mood. She'll say about 25-30 words in the correct context without having to be prompted. Daddy is really trying to teach her War Eagle, and I am pushing for Love You, Momma. It is a work in progress.
Size: I go in a couple of weeks for her 15 month check up, so I'll know her official stats then. She is in size 3 diapers during the day, 4 at night. She is in 9-12 month clothes.
We love our angel so much!

Check Up for Baby Burnette
Sweet baby #2 got a checkup today. I am 15 weeks today and still feeling good. The baby's HR was 157. I haven't really been sick, and am finally getting over the fatigue of pregnancy! Don't get me wrong, I love to sleep when Haisley sleeps, but I find that I can't sleep at night when I do that. Not to mention that nothing gets done around the house when I sleep during naps. This pregnancy is so different than with Haisley. I worry a lot less! I don't have time to worry because I am chasing another little one around. The pregnancy is also flying by! It seems like just yesterday I found out we were pregnant. We go back in May for our big ultrasound! We don't care what it is, just praying for a healthy baby!
Rolling Toomers
Saturday was the last rolling of the original Toomer's oak trees. Although Haisley had never rolled Toomers, Mark and I remember rolling it for most of our lives. We definately wanted to be a part of the last rolling. It was remarkable to see so many people in one place. Haisley loved it! We walked to Samford lawn around one, even though the official rolling didn't begin until five. I knew that we would never get pictures of Haisley with the tree if we waited. I was right! So glad we went early! Here are some pictures of our day!
Nana made her this adorable shirt!
Mommy, please stop taking pictures of me.
It was a hard day! Baby girl napped the whole way home!

Haisley's First Wedding!
This weekend was the first wedding that Haisley attended. She had a ball, and looked like a princess! Her two favorite parts were the cake and the dancing! Luckily, Nana and Granddaddy thought to bring their camera. We had to drag the girl off the dance floor!

We've Got News!
Sweet Haisley is going to be a big sister, as indicated by the TWO pregnancy tests above! I actually took about four total. We had been trying for sweet baby #2 for several months now, and were thrilled when we got the + sign! Telling people that we were pregnant the second time was very interesting. Most people said "Wow" and "Was it planned?" Yes it was! The second question was, "So how far apart will the babies be?" 20 Months! We couldn't be more excited!
I had my 3rd doctor's appointment today and everything went great! We found out we were pregnant February 5. Our first appointment was just the basic blood work stuff. The second one we got to have an ultrasound and our sweet baby measured perfectly! The heart rate was 172! At today's appointment, they had a difficult time finding the heartbeat with the doppler, so I got another ultrasound! LOVED IT! That little heart was beating so perfectly, 160 bpm! I go back in 3 weeks!
This pregnancy is so different than my pregnancy with Haisley. I have only gotten sick a few times, and have only been a little nauseated. I feel completely different than I did with Haisley. I feel sure it is a boy, but feel so blessed with whatever God gives us. As my friend Ashley says, we are so blessed that God knows our family better than we do and knows exactly if we should have a boy or girl! We have already enjoyed praying for this sweet new addition!

Easter
Easter this year was too fun! We celebrated our risen Lord!! We told Haisley all about it; Him dying because He knew we would sin and not make good choices sometimes and that Him dying was the only way we could spend eternity with him. I think she completely understood. No, but really, I want her to enjoy hunting eggs and the Easter bunny, but as she grows up, I want her to understand the real reason we celebrate Easter.
With all that said, we started the Easter weekend by dying eggs. I had an idea in my head about how it would all go. It happened nothing like I imagined. I ended up dying the eggs while Haisley and Daddy played in the yard.
I know she's dressed really cute. Since I thought she would be a lot more involved in the dying process, I changed her into appropriate clothes that obviously match very well.
After church, JJ came over! We ate, played dress up, and hunted Easter eggs. When we got home from church, I wanted her to nap in something other than her Easter dress. I put her in a shirt that I had when I was about 3 years old from Hardy's Creative Childcare...complete with a picture of my face on it. And of course, JJ's jewels!

The dying kit came with stickers, and she had a blast playing with them.
When she woke up this morning, the Easter bunny had made a stop.
She got a "Band in the Box," some M&Ms, books, and money.
We played for a while, then got geared up for church.

Then, the hunt began!
And at the end of the day, all she really wanted to do was play with rocks!

14 Months
Look at this sweet face....
is there any wonder why I am so in love??
Time keeps on chugging along! The baby is now 14 months! WOW! This is the most fun stage yet! Her little personality is in full swing and she definately keeps us laughing!
Some updates on the angel baby:
Eating-The girl is definately a big eater, which translates into a big pooper. I mean we're talking 5-6 times a day. (TMI?? She'll want to know when she is older, I think.) There really isn't anything that she doesn't like. Broccoli, any type of fruit, and crackers are her favorites. Mark and I have to spell out the word cracker in front of her, and she is limited to about two a day. She is getting between 4-6oz of milk at each meal. Sometimes she gets breast milk, sometimes regular milk and sometimes a mix. Whatever is easiest at the time. This will be the last month of breast milk, my freezer full is almost gone.
Her weight at the hospital on Tuesday was 18 lbs, 10 oz! My growing baby!
Sleeping-No new news. Still going great! She sleeps with about 4 pacis in her crib. She doesn't have a blankie, but will feel around her crib until she has all of her pacis under her arm. Breaking her of that is going to be tricky!
Teeth-She got two new teeth last week. One molar tooth is starting to appear on the bottom right, she is also getting a front tooth on the bottom right. Getting her to open her mouth so I can look is really difficult.
Tricks-She is running! About two weeks ago she started standing up without pulling up on anything. She will point to her ears when you ask her, and when sitting in your lap, she will point to your eyes and say "eye." She loves riding in her car, swinging, and going down the slide. She is such a little cuddle bug. I love that!
Talking-I think that this is such a fun stage because all of the talking she is doing! She will pretty much repeat any word that you tell her to say. This only started about two weeks ago. She also says several words without having to be prompted. Cracker, Mama, Dada, dog, Hutch, duck, apple, car, cheese, cup, up, orange,
and outside are a few that I can remember right now.
We had a very eventful month!!
We attended an Easter egg hunt at church! It had to be moved inside because of the weather, but Haisley still enjoyed it. These were taken at home before we left so she could practice.
They turned the water in the fountain in front of the church purple and Haisley LOVED it!

Daddy helping her gather the eggs at church. She just wanted to walk through them and sit in the middle of them.
They turned the water in the fountain in front of the church purple and Haisley LOVED it!
There was even a petting zoo!
We also did some fishing this month. Of course, Haisley insisted on wearing her bubble that had a fish on it. What can I say, the girl is theme oriented.
The little bit got a new stroller (not as bulky as the old one), and a new carseat that is front facing. We are all happier now! She loved playing with the boxes!
Some random pics with precious outfits that our sweet Aunt Ashley let us borrow!
Pic with Mommy
And the highlight of the month for me, JJ bought Haisley materials for her first "journal," kindergarten style!! I LOVE IT! Anybody who really knows me knows that I am constantly trying to teach Haisley stuff, so a journal is PERFECT!!! Gotta love that JJ taught children how to write for 30 years!
Non-toxic markers that ended up on her lips/in her mouth. No biggie, right?
