Haisley is FIVE

Oh.  My.  Word.  My angel, first-born, baby girl is 5....FIVE.  Easily the fastest 5 years of my life.  She is one of the most precious people you will ever meet.  She has the kindest heart, MOST OF THE TIME thinks of others above herself, is so happy and loves life.  I tell people all the time that my only complaint with Haisley is that sometimes she is too silly.  What a blessing??  To have a baby who is happy ALL the time....I can not complain!  Haisley brings so much joy to our lives.  She gets excited about the smallest things.  I love that about her.  She is very inquisitive and wants to be involved in all conversations.  She has anxiety about things, especially going to the doctor or situations where she doesn't know what is going on.  She does not like to be involved in being close to Aubie.
Haisley is an excellent eater, she'll try anything that I give her.  She wants to be healthy and run with her momma, I love that about her too.  I learn so much about her when we run...she talks nonstop.  She loves, and thrives, in a routine.  For example, every night after Mark takes her to the bathroom, she comes back out and we have to go over everything that is going to happen the following day.  She sleeps wonderfully, even though Camille gets up during the night and they share a room.  She is the best helper, a very mature 5 year old, if you ask me!  Her reasoning and understanding of situations amazes me.
She is a little thing.  I'm not sure of her exact stats because we haven't been to the doctor yet, but I think she weighs about 33 pounds.  She is in size 4T and size 10 shoes.
We love you so much, my precious baby.  God knew exactly what he was doing when he placed you as the first born in our house!  I love you so much!

Haisley's Tea Party

My sweet girl wanted to celebrate her 5th birthday with a fancy tea party.  I agreed that it was a perfect way to celebrate, too!  Fancy and sweet, couldn't have been better.  Well, aside from the fact that there was a tornado that hit down right as the party was starting.  It didn't stop this sweet girl from having a blast!

My Haisley Grace running inside...she was so excited!
Fancy table...

Camille is 17 months

This punkin pie is 17 months old.  She is deceptively cute....her attitude is getting worse by the day!  Some updates on the angel...
Size:  She is definitely bigger than Haisley was at this age.  I'm not sure of her exact weight and height, as she doesn't have an official doctor's appointment this month.  I'm guessing that she weighs about 23 lbs.  She is in mostly12-18 month clothes, wears size 4 diapers, and size 4ish/5ish shoes.
Eating: Camille is by far our pickiest eater.  She likes eggs and chicken.  She doesn't love veggies, but does enjoy strawberries, blueberries, and melon.  She loves sausage, any type of cracker.  She is still getting breastmilk in her sippy cup 2 times a day.
Tricks:  She is STARTING to talk more, but it is still a struggle.  There are not any words or phrases that she uses all the time.  She is pretty good at saying "momma" and "thank you."
Sleeping:  She takes one nap a day and has started sleeping through the night...for the most part.  Excuse me while I go knock on some wood.  She goes to bed around 6 most nights.

While she is so precious, she is really showing her independence and throwing out with tantrums.  I don't remember Haisley and Benton acting like that, but Mark assures me that they did.  Anyway, we love this precious angel so very very much!
