Our sweet baby had to get three shots today at the doctor. A lot of crying was involved! Before she even had the shots she stood at the door saying over and over, "I go, I go, I go..." Dr. Carter got quite a show!

We have a growing girl!!
In other news, Haisley Grace is in a BIG GIRL BED!! Since Saturday night! We haven't had any problems yet! Pictures to come soon. I am apprehensive about taking a picture of her in the bed because I have only been letting her sleep in it. As soon as she wakes up, I run in a get her because I don't want her to know that she can get out on her own.

1.5
Our precious baby girl has become a toddler before our eyes. She is 18 months old...we can't believe it!
Some updates on the precious lovebug:
Teeth: She is finally getting the bottom left tooth. 12 total
Eating: Nothing has really changed. We are really encouraging her to feed herself using her spoon/fork these days. She normally will start with a utensil but resort to using her hands to get it in her mouth faster.
Size: We don't go to the doctor until next week, so I don't have official stats, but I am certain that she has gotten much taller and heavier. She is still in size 3 diapers during the day, 4 at night. She is still wearing the same clothes she's been wearing since March. Haisley has a pair of white sandals that are size 2, but we are about to have to go up a size. Her hair is also growing like a weed...we're almost sporting a ponytail!!
Talking: She is still talking a lot! She is even starting to put a couple of words together. The angel baby will say "Ouch Mommy," and she specifically tells you what she wants more of while eating. I hear "More cheese" a lot!
Favorite Activities: Haisley loves to play outside, swim, play with her dolls, eat, go on walks (especially when she doesn't have to ride in the stroller), try on shoes, and get undivided attention from her Daddy and I. She loves playing on the couch. We don't allow her to do it, we're trying to teach her to respect people's stuff, but she loves it nonetheless.
Potty Training: We are going to start again in a few weeks. She tells me just about everytime she is going potty, so we are going to give it another go!
I have been working with her on her colors and shapes with no success. She won't sit still long enough! We try to work on colors and shapes as they come up in everyday life. She almost always answers "blue" when you ask her what color something is. She does know the shape heart and star. Hey, we have to start somewhere! She'll get it soon enough! She still has a paci. Out of control, I know. She loves it. It seems that she wants it most when she is tired. I try to make them disappear during the day. Out of sight, out of mind doesn't always work though.
We recently bought Haisley her very own big girl bed. We are going to set it up soon...pictures will be coming soon!
Whenever we laugh at something cute she does, she says, "I funny." She has also started saying "I wuv you" much more and giving the best kisses.
Haisley Grace is such a bundle of joy. She is going to be a great big sister and helper! We love you precious baby girl!! Happy year and a half birthday!!
Her 18th month in pictures:
Haisley loves to play with my makeup while I am putting it on. I generally let her just so that I can actually put it on myself. On this particular day, she got in the eye liner in a moments time.

She is starting to smile more for the camera:
She really loves to get anybody's shoes and make someone put them on or put them on herself.
The girl loves a good bracelet, specifically mine. That's right, that is a paci in her mouth, we still haven't gotten rid of it. The addiction level is at an all-time high.
And my necklaces...when I am wearing jewelry she says "On, on."
One of the many precious outfits our Nana has made for us!
The girl loves some waterworks, especially putting her head in the water!
In and out, in and out....that is normally what happens in the baby pool. This time she landed on a tug boat.
My pregnant self...
We have been trying to talk about baby brother coming soon. We told her that we were going to wrap him up in a blanket. Of course, she wanted to be wrapped up too. We put her in the baby doll bed that Mawmaw gave us. She loved it!!

Baby Brother
Baby Burnette is still affectionately known as baby brother around our house. We still don't have a name, and to be honest we are really not even working on it. We need to though! I will be 28 weeks in two days and still doing good! We saw Dr. Alverson this morning and I measured 29.5 weeks. I had the gestational diabetes test and passed...thank goodness! Dr. Alverson's new nurse didn't tell me what the heartrate was. I guess the important thing is that there was a heartrate! We start going every two weeks now. I feel as though I have blinked and the pregnancy is almost over. As soon as we get Haisley's big girl bed set up, we are going to start working on little bit's nursery. We are so thankful for both of our precious babies!!

Haisley's First Zoo Trip
We have a TON of things that we need to be doing around our house in preparation for baby boy's arrival. In lue of all that, we decided to take sweet Haisley to the zoo. We decided it was best to go before I got any MORE pregnant. She loves reading books about animals, specifically tigers, so I felt like she would enjoy it. She DID!! We got there right when they opened, so it wasn't terribly crowded or hot yet. She got to walk around and loved it. She was waving at the animals and people like she was at a parade. We walked around for a few hours and finished the zoo trip with a ride on the train and a visit to Chick-Fil-A.
A lot of pointing and waving was going on...
We went into the reptile area. I mean I was petrified, but I didn't want my fears to be rubbed off on the baby girl. As soon as we walked in she started saying, "It scares me, it scares me." So precious! Daddy held her the rest of the time through that exhibit.
The long awaited animal....the tiger! He didn't growl at us, but we certainly growled at him! The tiger kept walking back in forth in front of us, so we got a great view. I think this was Haisley's favorite animal of the day!
Haisley and Mark went inside the petting zoo...Haisley was not into it at all. The goats kept jumping on her!
Next we visited the elephants. There was a little window she could look out of. Apparently it stuck with her because she has been saying elephant all day!
Anyone that knows our little bit knows that she likes to eat. From the elephants on she was snacking on cheerios!
Enjoying the train ride.

4th of July Festivities
When I was pregnant with Haisley, and could not sleep, I would lay in bed and think about how we would celebrate each holiday. For the 4th of July, I envisioned us seeing the fireworks, of course! Last year, Haisley was a bit too young, so I have been gearing up for this year's fireworks for weeks. I even planned a festive outfit. Much to my dismay, it has been raining for the last week, I mean I have seriously been looking for Noah, so all of the fireworks that I had been planning to attend have been canceled.
So, on the actual 4th, we went to the Ponder's at Lake Martin. Haisley LOVED swimming with her Daddy in the lake. It was the coldest July 4th in history (literally), so her lips started turning blue! She loved cuddling with her Mommy to warm up, and I loved it too! I let her eat until her heart was content, and she had a ball!
We had a blast at sweet Harper Lynn's birthday party on Saturday morning. All the while, my firework dream had not been fulfilled....until....sweet Aunt Ashley invited us to the fireworks at Bama RV Park. We went home after the party to allow Haisley to take a good nap. I mean afterall, fireworks can really take it out of a girl. It was pouring down rain and I was anxiously awaiting the final call on if they were still going to do the fireworks. That's right, all of this carrying on was all because I wanted my child to see the fireworks. We went on a walk with the kids, and saw the lights being set up...and I was thrilled. Uncle Johnathan even surprised us with a boat ride to get the best view of the lights. We are so thankful to Aunt Ashley and Bamama for allowing us to be a part of their holiday and make my dreams come true!!!
Here are some pictures of the sweet girls playing before the lights began:
