Camille at 4 Months

This sweet gift from the Lord is 4. Months. Old.  Oh my gracious!  Ya know when babies are born how their fingernails are paper thin?  So thin that you can bite them to an appropriate length?  Well 2 days ago, I had to cut this baby's nails with nail clippers.  I almost cried.  Crazy, I know, but I cannot believe that this sweet precious baby is old enough for that.  It doesn't help that she is the caboose.  I know that every "last" that I have with her will actually be the last with any baby I will ever have, and I am taking it kinda hard.  Anyway, I can't imagine a more happy child to be the baby of the family. When I think of words to describe her, easy, precious, happy, pleasant, and adorable come to mind.  She is an absolute delight.  Some updates on the angel bug....

Teeth:  None yet, Praise the Lord!!

Tricks:  My baby, 2 weeks ago, when she was 3.5 years old, decided she was going to start rolling all over the place.  I'm not going to lie, I really don't know how seeing how she has had little to no tummy time.  But, she is just rolling around all over the place.  It kinda breaks my heart.  She is trying to sit up, and loves her toys.  Her smiles come so easily.  She talks constantly, laughs a lot, and mimics the movement of our mouths.  Too much, too quickly.  It is amazing how much I am NOT in a rush for this one to hit milestones.

Size:  This sweet girl is seriously making up for lost time in the size department.  She is in 3 month clothes (completely grown out of newborns-que the tears), size 1 diapers, and those little cheeks are so sweet and chubby.  We couldn't get her 4 month appointment until January 5th, so I'll post official stats then.  I'm not going to lie, I like to be prompt in doctor's appointments so that I can have accurate weight/length stats, but it isn't going to happen this month.  I would like to note, sweet Camille, that if you are reading this and you are 30, your late appointment isn't because mommy didn't try.  I tried scheduling your 4 month appointment while at your 2 month appointment, but they did not have the doctor's schedule that far in advance.  I do think that she is about 11 pounds, but gaining rapidly!

Eating:  Camille decided she wasn't going to use the shield anymore, and it has drastically decreased her feeding time.  She went from eating about 45 minutes to eating about 15.  It is SOOO much easier for me.  I'm not sure how much she is getting, but when she gets a bottle she gets about 4 oz.  We haven't even thoght about baby food, not even on the radar!

This angel is all smiles most of the time.  Adore her!!

This love baby is already in a bouncy seat.  How can it be?  Time slow down!!

Christmas 2015

I think that this was the first Christmas that Haisley totally understood that Santa was going to be coming to bring presents, which made this Christmas so much FUN!!  It was also Camille's first Christmas, which was exciting!  Santa brought a trampoline, and the big kids LOVED it.  Unfortunately, we have had heavy rain for DAYS, so Santa was unable to put it together.  Poor Benton, he probably said, "Open it" 200 times Christmas morning.  Once Mark finally took the box outside to put it together, Benton said "Done?" another 200 times.  When the trampoline was finally put together, my babies jumped for hours.  It was time for Benton's nap, he was so tired, but he was laying on the floor yelling, "I want to jump."  But back to Christmas morning...Benton woke up at 4.  Everyone else was up by about 6:45.  Mark and I gave the kids a bouncy house, rain boots (how appropriate for the monsoon), Camille got a piggy bank, Haisley got princess get up, umbrellas and a few other things.

Santa made a mess with the cookies.

We thought it would be a good idea to let each kid pick out a toy for their sibling.  Haisley was so sweet and grateful for what Benton picked!  A crown and bracelets.

Christmas Eve at Amanda's

In year's pasts, we have tried to run all over the place Christmas morning, but this year we decided to stay home so that the kids would be able to enjoy their toys.  We went to Amanda's on Christmas Eve, had a delicious dinner and opened presents.   As always, the babies had a blast playing together!!  We hurried home afterwards so that we could be in bed before Santa arrived!

Cookies for Santa

The kids had SOO much fun decorating cookies for Santa this year.  Camille slept for a lot of it, but woke up for the last bit of it.  Mark and I even joined in the fun! Santa LOVED the cookies, he tried a bite out of each one.

The finished products.  Please note that I could basically be a cookie decorator.  I even fixed Mark's Santa.

 Mark's creation...

Benton's hand is Santa, Camille's foot is Rudolph, and Haisley's hand is Mrs. Claus

Christmas At The Farm

We had such a fun, relaxing time celebrating Christmas this year!  We were there with Nana, Granddaddy, Brad, Meredith, and Cecelia.  The kids loved playing!  Christmas is so much fun with little ones!  Camille got lots of fun toys, Benton got a basketball goal and Haisley got a Frozen karaoke machine.  The karaoke machine has been enjoyed by the entire family, specifically me....I love a good microphone!
This girl knows how to pose.

We are so happy that we got to spend Christmas with Nana and Granddaddy!  They do so much for us and we are so grateful!

Carousel Fun

Our sweet friends,  the Bakers, invited us to go to the carousel in Valley.  I always went growing up and it was so much fun, so I thought it would be fun to go!  It was freezing, but we had so much fun!   Camille even got to go on her first carousel ride (outside of mommy's tummy ;)

Pardon my posting every event attended.   I am trying to remember everything we do with these sweet babies!   Love them so!
