Benton is 4 Months Old

Ok, so I know that for every one of Haisley's monthly updates I talked about time flying.  I didn't have a clue.  Until life is busy with two little ones, you really can't understand how quickly time goes by.  With that said, my sweet, precious, happy Benton is a third of a year old.  I often look at him and see him reaching for things, rolling over, giggling at his sister, and I think, goodness, he is doing a lot for a newborn.  Then I quickly remember that my sweet baby isn't a newborn anymore.  He is growing by leaps and bounds.  He started rolling from his back to his tummy about two weeks ago.

Some things I want to remember about my Benton Boy:
He giggles often
Grabs for things and pulls them to his mouth
Still likes his paci, but doesn't have near of the addiction that Haisley did/does
Has started sleeping without his swaddle, and does great
Still is rocked to sleep
No consistent naps
Kicks his legs up and rolls to one side
Plays with his feet
Anytime eye contact is made, he smiles the most precious gummy smile!
Squeals and coos quite a bit
So so happy if he isn't tired or hungry.  You might be thinking, well isn't every baby.  No, this is not the case with every baby.  Just ask Haisley.
Loves playing on his activity mat.
Adores his sister.
Wearing size 2 diapers
Mostly 6 month clothes
Has a very loud cry
Is over the bouncy seat.  We'll probably progress to the jumperoo in a couple of weeks
Such an easy baby.

Daddy Daughter Date Night

....or,  just Daddy Daughter, as Haisley refers to it.  Mark and Haisley went to the Daddy Daughter Date Night last night.  From what I hear, Haisley had a ball!  They went to eat at Chick-fil-a to eat, then danced the night away.  I'm not gonna lie, I followed them out to the car for pictures.  If I am like that when she goes on a date with her Daddy, I can't imagine how I will be when she does on a real date!

 Smelling her "flower bracelet"

This little girl loves her Daddy!  So glad that they had such a fun date night!

Snow Days

Last week we had a snow day!  It was so much fun!  Mark was supposed to be out of town the entire week, but ended up only having to be gone one night because of the weather.  It was quite cold, but we did go outside for a bit.

My precious snow bunnies.  It is hard finding enough warm clothes when living in Alabama.

Getting ice off the car.

Benton finally woke up from his nap and enjoyed the snow a little.  Actually, he didn't enjoy it much at all.  That sweet love does NOT enjoy being cold!

And with that...we enjoyed the view from inside.

Haisley's 2 Year Stats

Haisley went for her check up last week and did GREAT!  She only had to get the flu shot and was such a big girl!  These are her stats:

Head Circumference:  18 in~5%
