Lastest on Benton
Yesterday we had a weekly appointment with an NST. Everything looked great. I feel him move so much more than I did Haisley. I have had a few episodes of contractions, which I never had with Haisley. Those things really hurt! This pregnancy has been completely different than my first!! I was 35 weeks, 6 days, 2 cm and 70% effaced. Dr. Alverson will probably induce me October 10 or October 15. We can't wait to meet our precious baby boy! We are so blessed and thankful!!

Tailgating 2013
I am about 15 months pregnant (actually 8.5 months) and we had the great idea to trek across Alabama from our house to the tailgate spot. Of course the queen was comfy in her chariot, which is all the really matters, but it was HOT!
Cousin Presley and his family were going to join us, but Uncle got called in unexpectedly to work. Maybe next time! At least he got to sit in the chariot.
Our camera did not make the journey with us, but luckily Nana had hers once we got there!
My baby's hair is getting so long!
All of the tailgating wears a girl out!!
To say that she enjoyed looking at everything is a gross understatement!!
Haisley's First Day of School
Haisley had her first day of school a couple of weeks ago! I'm not going to lie, I was pretty worried about how she would adjust to not being with me. She has done GREAT! She only cries a little when I drop her off, and stops after about a minute. I am the crazy mom that stands in the hallway until she stops...I can't leave my baby if she is hysterical! She has had a ball. She has been coloring, going outside, and eating all kinds of snacks that I won't let her eat at home (specifically marshmellows).
This is what she thinks about her first day of school...she's stomping on the sign I made her.
Holding up some thank you cards.
Daddy is putting on her backpack. He took the morning off so he could see her off to school on her first day. So special!!
I'm pretty sure the backpack was her favorite part about the whole day!
She didn't want to take it off the rest of the day/week. So funny and precious!

19 Months
Our baby is 19 months...
And she is a MESS!! The best kind though!! She keeps us laughing and busy!
Some updates on the angel....
Size: The baby is growing like a weed. She is still in size three diapers, four at night. Her 12 month play clothes are finally starting to get snug! We're so blessed that Nana makes the most beautiful clothes for our baby girl. She is in size 4 shoes. She has almost grown out of all of her other shoes, she says "It hurts" when I try to put them on.
Talking: I know I say this every month, but I feel like she is talking so much. Since she has been in her big girl bed, we let her get in bed with us in the morning. Two mornings she has been laying in the bed and in a complete sentence says what she wanted for breakfast. "I want a cookie." "I want a biscuit." Although the girl can talk, we are still working on learning her colors and shapes. Whenever I ask her a color she normally will respond by saying several different colors, rarely the correct one though. She'll get it, I have no doubt!
Haisley's level of attachment to me is at an all-time high. She literally will yell "Mommy do it" anytime anybody tries to do anything for her. She is starting preschool tomorrow, so hopefully this will get better. She repeats everything that is said! She also has gotten really good at recalling events that happened earlier in the day/week. Hutch choked on a stick last week and she still points to her mouth and says "Hutch, stick." She has constantly bending down in his face asking, "Ok? Ok?" She will then look at me and say, "Better." It is amazing to me how she picks so much up from what we
say!
She loves wearing her Daddy's hats. She is finally starting to smile for the camera.
Haisley loves "washing" her hands. JJ even taught her that she can dunk her head under the water. Thank you so much for that JJ.
These days Haisley is into EVERYTHING. No really...EVERYTHING. She is constantly on the go. She is a bundle of energy. She loves playing outside, cooking anything (while saying, "I taste"), playing in water, dancing on Lyndell's stage, and playing with friends.

Big Girl Firsts
Haisley Grace has had a lot of big girl experences in the last few weeks. To start, she has been in a big girl bed for a month now. We've been working on finishing her room for quite a while. I think all we need now is a new lamp!! She's kicked the one off of her changing table one too many times!
She has been doing great!! She goes down without any fuss. When she wakes up she calls "Mommy" and waits for me to come get her. We are so thankful that she doesn't realize she can get off the bed and roam around the room. She is such a precious love bug!!
She is also starting school. Preschool, that is. The way I've been carrying on one might think that we are sending her to college cross country. We're not...just two mornings a week. This will be a big deal for both of us. The angel baby has never been away from her mommy consistently for any length of time. Hopefully we will both adjust quickly. I think is will be good for her to interact with other kids. I'm going to miss my love angel though, even if it is only a couple hours a week!
This picture is from meet the teacher. Miss Linda is her teacher. She seems very sweet! More pictures will be coming from the first day of school.

Our best attempt at getting her to hold a "Meet the Teacher" sign...

Baby Brother has a Name!!
Sweet baby brother finally has a name....Benton William Burnette. After much discussion, we mutually agreed upon this name. We love the name Benton and Mark's first name is William...a family name. We had an untrasound today and everything looked great!! Benton measured a few days ahead, which is not a big deal. He weighed 4 lbs, 5 oz, the 55% for weight. His heartrate was 155. We will go again in two weeks, then every week until his arrival. At each of these visits I will have to have a nonstress test. Should be fun!!
Haisley is so precious about being a big sister. When we ask her where Benton is she will normally lift her shirt and point to her belly. We correct her and tell her that he is in mommy's belly and she always wants to kiss my stomach...precious. She doesn't want daddy to feel left out so she normally wants to kiss his tummy too. Quite a production going back and forth between bellies. We wouldn't have it any other way!! Baby Benton will have one of the best big sisters ever!! We can't wait to meet our new addition!
