Preschool 2016-2017

My sweet older babies had their first day of preschool today, and they ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!  They both talked about how much fun they had and how they couldn't wait to go back!  I would be lying if I said I wasn't ready for them to be back too.  They both go Monday-Thursday.  Benton has Ms. Nancy Sack and Haisley has Ms. Amanda Carpenter.  Benton thrives in a structured environment, so this will be good for him!!

Camille is One

How in this world is my angel ONE YEAR OLD.  I can't even lie about it, I'm sad.  I can honestly say that I have tried to soak up every moment, every milestone, with this sweet one.  I have enjoyed her, been laid back with her, have been in NO RUSH whatsoever for her to sit up/crawl/walk/etc.  It is amazing how different parenting the third baby is compared to the first!  Camille is an absolute JOY!  Happy, pleasant, easy-going, delightful, and precious beyond words.  We have blessed beyond measure to raise this sweet one and we pray that we raise her to love the Lord with all of her heart!  I am fighting tears as I write this, knowing (unless divine intervention) that this will be the last time that I write a "One" post.  I will continue trying to soak this sweet baby up and enjoy her!  Our sweet girl has accomplished so much in the last month.
Updates on our girl....
Tricks:  I guess the biggest update is that she is walking.  Like, not a few steps, like all over the place.  I mentioned that I was in no rush for this to happen, yet she is walking more than Haisley and Benton were at this stage.  She loves pat-a-cake, reading, playing with her brother and sissy, jumping on trampoline (while I'm holding her), and playing in the baby pool.  She makes the CUTEST expressions, she scrunches her nose up and it is adorable!

Teeth:   She still has 6 teeth!

Size:  She is still the shortest of the bunch, but is chunky!  She is in size 4 diapers and 9-12 month clothes. I'll post her stats when she goes to the doctor this week.

Eating:  She eats everything that we eat.  She nurses in the morning and night, and gets frozen milk during the day.  She does not like cheese, but basically likes everything else.  I think her favorites are nutrigrain bars, cantalope, and any kind of meat.

Our wild Benton LOVES tools,  and building in general.   Since we recently moved into a fixer upper, he has had lots of opportunities to help Mark...

Neon Vibe

Haisley and I ran a 5k last night and we had a ball!   She did awesome and I was beyond impressed!   She ran the majority of the way!  I held her for some of it,  but she did wonderful!   So happy to have a new running buddy!  The first 2 miles she kept saying how much fun she was having!   The last mile, not so much,  but she finished with a smile!

My Haisley Grace is 4.5

Our full of life, energetic, caring, smart, angel baby is 4.5 years old.  It is literally liked I blinked and we have an almost five year old.  While I am sad that my baby is growing so quickly, I couldn't be more delighted in the sweet girl that she is becoming.  MOST of the time, she thinks of others before herself, is the ABSOLUTE best big sister, is sweet, and a tremendous helper.  She is a precious little thing and I can see why God choose for her to be the big sister of our family, she certainly takes care of her baby brother and sister.
  Haisley is still a little thing.  She weighs about 31 lbs and is in a size 4T for the most part.
  Haisley will try anything and I LOVE that about her.  She loves sweets and desserts, but also loves fruits and vegetables.  She will not drink milk and is not a huge fan of meat.
She took ballet this summer and really enjoyed it, so we are going to take it again this fall.  Haisley is very anxious about everything, so it helped that Lyndell was in her class.  Seeing a familiar face was comforting to her.  I have always been a bundle of nerves, and I'm afraid she is going to be the same way!
Haisley Grace, we love you so stinking much!  You are such a precious little girl and we are so thankful that God choose us to be your parents.  We pray that you will come to know Jesus as your savior and that you will follow his ways all the days of your life!!

Camille at 11 Months

This sweet little thing is 11 months and I CANNOT get enough of her.  I know I say this on every post, but she is the most delightful and pleasant baby ever!  Unless she is tired, she is a very happy camper.  Her little personality is so playful and fun!  Some updates on our little doodlebug...

Eating:  She is still breastfeeding a few times a day, but mainly uses a sippy cup during the day.  She gets 4ish oz of breastmilk in her sippy cup and water the rest of the time.  She eats everything that I eat these days.  She does not love cheese, but bascially likes everything else!  She eats 3 meals a day plus a snack.

Teeth:  She still has 6 teeth, maybe 2 more coming in, but her behavior does not indicate that.

Sleeping:  We put our sweet Camille in her crib and she goes to sleep with little to no fussing or crying.  She has been taking a good 2ish hour nap a day and goes to bed about 6:15.  This is horrible, but she gets up 2-3 times a night and nurse her back to sleep.  I know that Dr. Carter is not going to be happy about this news, but we do what we have to do with the kiddos!

Tricks:  My sweet, precious, last baby is starting to stand up longer and longer on her own, which is soooo bittersweet.  I feel like she is going to start taking steps any day now.  She LOVES patty cake, playing with Haisley and Benton, she waves and says bye, makes clicking noises with her tongue, and when you ask her where somebody is, she generally turns in their direction as if she knows who you are asking her about.

Size:  Camillie Girl is still in size 4 diapers, and in 6-12 month clothes.  I'm not sure how much she weighs or how long she is.  I would guess 18 ish pounds.

We love you so much, you will never know the extent, sweet Camille.  The joy and happiness that you bring to our family is immeasurable!!
