Haisley's Easter Program

Haisley did such an excellent job at her special Easter chapel this week.  The kids were so precious!  They came into the chapel waving palm branches, sang songs, and put bows on a big wooden cross to represent Jesus' present to us was dying on the cross.  We are so blessed to be at a preschool that teaches about the Lord.

After Easter Chapel, the kids had their Easter Egg Hunt.  I forgot Haisley's Easter basket, so I am clearly mother of the year.  Luckily, I found an offering basket and we improvised.  She had so much fun and was so sweet to share her goodies with Benton!

Camille is 7 Months

There are just not enough adjectives to describe this sweet 7 month old angel.  She is truly that, angelic.  I am sure that I will read back on this post in about a year and laugh when she is into everything, but for now, she is perfect.  She rarely cries, goes to sleep in her crib without fussing, and goes with the flow!  Some updates on our sweet baby girl...
Size:  I'm not sure about her size, I'm guessing 16 lbs.  She is in size 3 diapers, we just made the switch.  She is mainly in size 3-6 month clothes.

Talking:  This baby is babbling up a storm, much more than the other 2 were at this point.  She says mamama, bye bye (a version of it), and has said dada one time.

Eating:  Camille is still nursing every 3 hours or so.  She has been getting up during the night once to eat as well.  We haven't started solids with her yet.  I think that she is ready, but I'm not...I can't believe my baby is old enough to eat!  Time slow down!!  When she does get a bottle, it is about 4-5 oz.

Tricks:  Camille has been getting on her hands and knees trying to crawl.  I am not a fan of this at all and quickly put her back on her belly.  Again, I'm not ready for my caboose baby to be growing up.  She is a rollie pollie and can get across the room in a matter of seconds.  She is sitting up really well these days, but is still a bit unsteady.  She rode in the buggy for the first time last week and LOVED it!!

Sleeping:  She has been our easiest child to sleep train.  We put her in the bed and walk out and rarely do we hear a word from her.  She is not on a nap schedule yet.  We are on the go so much with the big kids that we are rarely home for her to actually take a nap in her crib.  She goes to bed between 6:30-7 and normally wakes up once to eat.  I know we need to break that habit ASAP!

Teeth:  I can see 2 bottom teeth, but can't feel them.  I will take a picture when they come out a little more.

First time in the buggy.

This is Camille's official 7 Month picture...minus the sign.  Haisley also wore this dress for her 7 month picture!!

Easter Egg Hunt 2016

Last weekend we attended our first Easter egg hunt as a family of 5!  We went to the Prince's farm and had an absolute BLAST!!  It was stress free and so much fun.  Benton was completely in his element...a wide open area to rip and roar!!  After hunting eggs, we had a delicious potluck lunch and came home for a good LONG nap!!  My kind of day!

Haisley's 4 Year Stats

Haisley had her 4 year check up yesterday, and it was quite an experience.  She had to get 5 shots, and she was not happy about it!  We made it through and she is as healthy as can be!  These are her stats...
Weight:  31 lbs....15%
Height:  38.5 in....21%.

We are so thankful for this sweet, growing girl!

Camille is 6 Months

This precious angel is 6 months old.  1/2 a year.  Can't believe it!  Camille continues to be the sweetest, happiest, most pleasant little one that I have ever been around. We feel immeasurably blessed that the Lord choose us to be her family!  Her sweet little personality is coming out more each day and I am trying to soak up every second!  Some update on my punkin pie...

Teeth:  None yet, but lots of drooling and chewing on fingers going on.

Sleeping:  Like a champ.  We had a little set back last week, my poor angel was sick as a dog with congestion.  That hindered sleeping a bit, but I think she is back on track.  She normally goes to bed about 7, sleeps until 5ish, eats and goes back to sleep.  We are not on a set sleep schedule during the day.  We put her down in her crib awake, let her cry for about 5 minutes, go back in and put the paci back in her mouth.  That is normally all it takes to get her to sleep.  Easy child to sleep train!!

Eating:  Camille is still breastfed, so I'm still not sure how much she is getting at each feeding.  We haven't started solids yet, although the doctor gave us the green light on it.  I am not ready to start quite yet, I think that it is because I am not ready for my baby to grow up.  She nurses about every 3 hours.

Size:  Camille is our smallest baby yet.  She is still in size 2 diapers and size 3-6 month clothes.  She went to the doctor yesterday for her six month checkup and had to get 5 shots.  It was horrible for me, I hate seeing my babies hurt.  Her stats:
Lenth~25in...15%
Weight~14 lb, 7 oz....18%
Head Circumference~17in...76%

Just for comparison, Haisley was 15lbs, 3 oz and 25.5 inches at 6 months.

Tricks:  Our sweet baby is so smiley.  She lights up a room!  She is excellent at rolling over, can sit up fairly well, babbles up a storm, and loves watching her siblings!

We love you so much sweet girl!  There are no words to explain it!  Happy half year!
