Auburn Cityfest 2015
We've never attended the Auburn ' s City Fest, but decided to this year. I think Benton was just hot, but Haisley really enjoyed it. She held a snake, which completely grosses me out. She wasn't scared at all. I probably wouldn't have allowed it, but they put it around her neck before I even realized it, probably because I was top concerned with documenting everything with pictures. Disgusting and creepy.
Mobile Fun
Mark has been traveling a good bit lately, so this past week I decided that the babies and I were going to tag along to Mobile. It is always hard to get two babies to sleep in a hotel room, but we managed! It was so worth it! We has so much fun together. We enjoyed going to the beach at Dauphin Island and the Science Center. We also ate some delicious seafood. We didn't take the big camera, so phone pictures will have to do.
We started the day by going to the beach. The kids LOVE it! Well, they loved it until I brought out the goldfish snacks. Seagulls surrounded us and the kids were terrified. We had to leave promptly after that.

Of course, the kids fell asleep in the car on the way back to the hotel, so taking a real nap was out of the question. We spent the afternoon at the Science Center and the kids loved it. They were the perfect age.

Disney World 2015
Our sweet Nana and Granddaddy took us to Disney World last week and it was so incredible and magical. Haisley was the perfect age to enjoy and soak up every second! She loved seeing the princesses so much, every time that I ask her favorite part, she gives a different response! We figured the kids would do better traveling if we drove at least part of the way during the night. We left Auburn about 3:30. Haisley was so excited that it took her a little while to go back to sleep, but Benton was back to sleep in no time. They did surprisingly well on the long trip. We were all so excited to be going to see Mickey!! We got there around 10 and were greeted with Mickey stickers and balloons. We quickly unloaded our stuff and headed to Downtown Disney via boat. We settled in for the night early so we could start the next day early. We got to Magic Kingdom early enough to see the grand entrance of Mickey and all of the other characters. The babies were so excited and I was just excited to see their excitement! We had a magical time! Benton did pretty good, although he had to either be held or in his stroller the whole time. We went back to the room for an afternoon nap, then returned to the park so we could watch the late night parade and the fireworks. I think everybody was exhausted, but we wanted to get the most of our time there! The next day, we returned to the Magic Kingdom. We stayed for the afternoon parade, then we went to take a nap and came back for one last late night adventure. It was such a wonderful trip! Some pictures of our trip....
Waiting for the parade.
Haisley and Daddy driving the car....Benton was asleep.
Meeting Minnie!! Benton was asleep, shocker
And Daisy.
Meeting Anna and Elsa were definitely among the top of the favorite list. Anna even said it was the best hug she had ever gotten! I finally had to get Haisley to stop hugging her. When we left she said, "That was so very good!"
Cinderella's glass slipper
Riding Dumbo with Daddy.
Character breakfast with Winnie the Pooh. The babies were not big fans of the characters, they liked to look from afar.
Teacups
Meeting Cinderella
Opening Grand Entrance of Mickey and friends. The babies were in awe.
Disney was exhausting for this little guy. He tried to catch cat naps when he could....
