Haisley Grace is 2 YEARS Old!!!

 

Our sweet little bundle of joy has grown into a little girl in a blink of an eye.  Just yesterday it seems like we were going in to the hospital to be induced!  When I try to sum up her personality, words like mess, handful, and bundle of energy come to mind.  She is such a sweet love bug most of the time, but is definately cranky first thing in the morning and when she first wakes from her naps.  It really is amazing how she has grown in a year.  I feel like she understands most things that I say and is really good at talking.  I can't say that the child knows all of her colors, but she can definately carry on a conversation with me!  Speaking of colors, she definately knows the colors pink, orange, purple, and blue.  We're still working on the others.  Haisley can count to about twelve, sometimes she leaves out three and four.  She can also recognize her name and a few letters. 
We can count on Haisley to sleep from about 8 to about 6 in the morning without waking up.  Thank goodness because we have another little fellow who is still up all night long!!!  Haisley still loves eating, or yelling "eat."  She has finally cut her bottom eye teeth, thats 16 teeth total!
We have been trying to potty train again the last week and it is going much better than previous times.  She still has frequent accidents, but is going more in the potty.  In the short two years that I have been her mommy, this is the hardest part thus far. 
Haisley is in 18 month clothes (for the most part).  We don't go to the doctor until next week, so I'll post her stats then!

For Haisley's first birthday party, I kinda went all out.  I spent endless hours on decorations.  This year was a different story.  I asked Haisley what type of cake she wanted and she replied with, "Aubie or Goofy."  After much thought, she decided on Aubie.  The following are pictures from her party.

Sweet Benton slept for most of the party.  He made an appearance for the last 30 minutes or so!

 

 

Watching Haisley open her presents was probably the highlight of the party for me!  It was a whirlwind, but oh so much fun!

 

Happy Birthday to our sweet sweet love bug.  You are one of the most precious, kind-hearted, funny people that we know!  Ye keep us on our toes, make us laugh, and are teaching us patience! 

Benton at 3 Months

 

 

Our precious Benton is 3 months.  I looked back at Haisley's 3 month blog and it said that I couldn't believe how quickly the time went by.  I had no idea!  With a busy (almost) 2 year old in the house, Benton's first three months and FLOWN by!  Our sweet boy is continuing to roll from his tummy to back, and is so close to rolling the other way too!  I have to admit, we don't give him as much tummy time as we should.  I kind of feel like we stay on the go much more than we did with Haisley.  He smiles so much!  It melts my heart.  He holds his head up pretty good, hits things that are in front of him and tries to grab things that are  placed in front of him.  I have no idea how much he weighs, but he is definitely a growing boy!  He is in size 2 diapers, 3-6 month clothes, and seems incredibly long to me!  Benton eats every three hours still, and is not sleeping well at night.  We've had literally about 6 nights in his life that he sleeps "through the night."  I use "through the night" loosely.  I can basically can count on him getting up every 3 hours to eat, even through the night.  Talk about exhausting!?!  He seems to have a sweet demeanor, smiles often, and makes cooing noises too!  Some pictures of our sweet love bug this month:
