Movin' on Up!
We're moving from our precious trailer to an actual house!! Most would think that moving out of a trailer into a house would be a joyous occasion, and it is, but I am really going to miss my trailer. We have the most wonderful view of two ponds and a beautiful field. I have lived in my trailer for almost eight years, the longest I have lived in one place! Our new house is precious, and has lots of room for potential. It definately needs some work. Here are some before pictures. As the Lord, time and money permits, hopefully there will also eventually be some after pictures.

7 Months!
Haisley Grace is 7 months!
Haisley has started to go from a sitting position to her knees and rocking a little, but has really shown no interest in crawling beyond that! Who needs to crawl when a chariot will carry you everywhere?!? (I am the chariot, by the way). She really prefers to be standing to sitting or laying down. She is so curious about everything going on around her-quite a busy body! She still enjoys playing in her bouncy seat. She has gotten pretty good at rolling around on the floor to get where she wants to go! A few times she has moved from a sitting position to using something to pull on and turn to her knees. She loves reading! When she is fussy at night, reading almost always calms her down. Her favorites are Polar Beard, Polar Bear, What do you Hear? (with the sound buttons) and Is This My Nose? Both of which her JJ bought her!
She is still in 3-6 month clothes and size two diapers. I weighed her in this week and she was 15 lb, 8 oz.
She is nursing four times a day now, and eating three solid "meals" a day. She has gotten really good at eating lunch and supper, but does not love breakfast. She has tried peas, green beans, squash, carrots, avocado, sweet potatoes (her favorite!), peaches, pears, and plums. Surprisingly, she really does not like fruit. We've been saying that the child is going to have a tooth for months, but nothing yet. She is chewing on everything!
Our little angel is going to bed between 6:45-8pm. She normally wakes up about five to eat and then will go back to bed until 7 or eight. I know that is a broad time, but it really depends on how naps have gone for the day. Speaking of naps, they are getting better! She still naps three times a day. She'll nap for about an hour at a time. We're hoping that she start taking only two naps once she will nap longer.
Haisley is such a joy! She loves to laugh and play! She mainly cries when she is tired these days!

1/2 Year
1/2 Year
How in the world is my baby girl half a year old?!?
Mark and I were talking earlier how much she has changed in just a few weeks! Just in the last month, her personality has come out so much! She is smiling and laughing all the time, playing with toys, and sitting up really good.
She is still breastfeeding....I realize I said that she would be weaned by six months-it didn't happen. We have tried green beans, peas, squash, oatmeal, rice, and bananas. She doesn't love solids, but we're going to keep trying. We are also working on eating four times a day rather than every three hours.
She is sitting up for longer periods of time, loves peek-a-boo, is going from sitting up to her tummy, she is starting to lunge forward, still loves standing up, and adores her jumparoo thing.
She is talking so much more in the last week or so. It is truly the sweetest sound ever!
She is reading in Spanish and English now....just kidding, but she does love when we read to her. She is still in size two diapers. She is still in some size three month clothes, some six months. I'm not going to lie, the first four months of this child's life were rough. She cried ALL of the time! I think she might have had colic. We are so blessed that only cries now when she is tired. She goes to sleep around eight every night and gets up between 4-6 am. She will usually go back to sleep until 8 or so as long as she eats. She will nap in her crib for about thirty minutes, but still prefers sleeping with her mommy.
We took her for her 6 month doctor's appointment and she had to get 4 shots. We survived, but it was rough! Her stats:
Weight: 15 lbs, 3 oz--50%
Height: 25.5 in--50%
Head Cir.: 16 in--15%

Dedication
Haisley was dedicated a couple of weeks ago at church, and I am just now putting pictures up! Haisley looked like an angel (can I say that about my own child?!?)! We had fun visiting with friends and family and we are grateful for the many prayers as we attempt to raise our little girl to love Jesus!
One of the few pictures we have with the three of us!
The whole family
Sweet Presley did not want to miss out on the cousin's dedication!

5 Months
Our little toot is 5 months!!!
Speaking of little toots, she doesn't know her name yet, or either she just choses to ignore me. She turns when someone else says her name, but I don't know if she actually knows it or is just turning to the sound of a new voice. It wouldn't shock me if she didn't know it because I call her pet names all the time. Her little personality is coming out more everyday and it is so much fun! For the child to not be able to crawl, I certainly feel like she is on the move a lot. She loves to play in her bouncy thing and on the floor. Above all else, she likes to be held and try to squirm out of your hands. She is rotten!! She is talking a lot more in the last week! We have been expecting a tooth to pop up any day now, but nothing yet. She is drooling, not sleeping, and nawing on everything! She wants to stand up all of the time, and we are still practicing sitting up! I am guessing that she weighs about 14 lbs. As mentioned earlier, the sleeping has gone down hill in the last few weeks. She wakes several times during the night...we're hoping it's just a phase. She is letting other people hold her now, which gives momma a break. She is taking most naps in her crib these days thanks to Debra Roberts!! What an angel?!? She came over one afternoon when I was at my wits end and put her down for a nap in that crib and she just went to sleep like it was no big deal! She is eating about every 3.5 hours. I plan on breastfeeding her through her 6 month birthday then weaning her. I have enough breast milk saved for the remainder of her first year. We just started her in size 2 diapers, ones still fit, but we ran out and have a lot of 2's so we made the switch! She is still in 3 month smocked clothes and 3-6 month Carter's clothes.
We started oatmeal when she turned four months...she didn't (and doesn't) love it. We tried green beans last night and a I think she likes that more than oatmeal.
We also took a picture of her sweet little legs after her 4 month shots
We didn't take as many pictures as I would have liked to this month, but here are the few that we did take...
This is little Haisley Grace, playing in the pool while her granddaddy holds an umbrella over her so she doesn't get too much sun...spoiled.
