Christmas 2016

This was one of my favorite Christmases since we've had kids.  Haisley and Benton are getting to be old enough to know that Christmas is all about Jesus' birthday!  They also loved their presents!  Haisley asked for a mermaid tail, bicycle, and mermaid barbie.  Benton wanted a gun, a bike, and tools.  They got everything they asked her.  We spent Christmas Eve with my side, woke up Christmas morning at our own house and spent the afternoon at the farm.  We had a blast!

Toys for Tots Race

I thought it would be fun for the kids and I to run in the Toys for Tots race.  They LOVED it, for the most part at least.  Some man knocked Haisley down during the fun run and she was upset that she didn't win as a result.  Benton got about 1 minute into the race and he said that his foot hurt and then his stomach hurt.  BUT...we finished, and I won for my age group...which I loved.  I even have a cheap ornament to prove it!!
