Baby Burnette #3

We went last week top check on sweet baby girl and I had my glucose test.   We are so blessed and grateful that we had a good appointment.   I passed my glucose test, and she seemed to be doing perfectly.   Her heartbeat was 150 bpm, and I was measuring perfectly at 26 weeks.   I am feeling this sweet girl moving all the time.  I LOVE feeling her, I feel her much more than I did with her brother and sister.   It is do reassuring!   We go back in a couple of weeks and we'll have an ultrasound to check on her size.   I literally cannot believe that this set baby will be here in 13 weeks.  Knowing that this will probably be my last pregnancy, I am trying to enjoy every second of it!

Haisley's 1st Day of Gymnastics

Haisley had her first day of gymnastics today and loved it.   She was looking forward to it all day and apparently it did not disappoint.  She especially loves that Harper is in her class!

Benton Boy is 19 Months

Time is just ticking right along, and my precious baby is turning into a little boy right before my eyes.  He acts so grown in so many ways.  He has such a sweet heart and doesn't seem as stubborn as others in the family....

Some updates on my love baby!

Teeth:  We are finally through the eye teeth, and they were a rough!  I think he has transitioned into getting his 2 year molars now, although none have broken through the gums yet.    He has 16 teeth total, from what I can tell!  I will also say that I will be shocked if he doesn't break any of his teeth out!  He is very adventurous and falls constantly.  He has already chipped his front right tooth.

Talking:  I would say that he has been talking a good bit more in the last 2 weeks.  He seems to be streaming a few words together and can really communicate what he wants a little better than a month ago.  He definitely understands what "Do you want to sit in timeout?" means.  He will promptly shake his head "No" and stop doing whatever he was doing.  A few other things that he has been saying, "That's my mommy, that's my daddy, that's mine, ball, bubbles, truck."  I'm sure that there are others, but this tired mommy can't think at the moment.

Sleeping:  Speaking of being tired, now is a good time to mention that Benton is NOT a great sleeper.  He is excellent in that we are able to put him to sleep awake and he will go to sleep on his own with no problem.  He always, with few exceptions, wakes up EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT.  We rarely go get him, unless the crying is for hours, but we still hear him.  We put him to bed around 7:15 and he wakes up by around 5am the next day.  It is exhausting!  He also naps about 1.5 hours everyday.

Eating:  Benton continues to be an excellent eater.  He eats 3 meals and day and multiple snacks.  He will eat just about anything.  He loves cucumbers, chicken, tomatoes, basically anything.  He doesn't love cheese, which is crazy to me!

Size:  Our sweet boy is growing like crazy.  I think that he weighs about 27 pounds, and is decently tall.  He wears a 2T, size 5 diaper.

We love you more than you could ever imagine sweet love baby!  Your sweet smile and kisses make your mommy's days so happy.  We are blessed beyond measure that God gave your sweet self to us to love and take care of.  Mommy and Daddy pray for you daily!

Haisley's Last Day of 2 Year Old Preschool

How can my baby already be done with 2 year old preschool?  I simply can't believe it!  She has grown so much in the last year and become so much more independent.  Haisley definitely keeps us on our toes, and there is never a dull moment.  She enjoyed Ms. Carmello and Ms. Matz' class so much!  She will be in their 3 yr old class as well!  These pictures are from her last day!  Her class had a water party to celebrate!!

Beach 2015

We went to the beach with the Bakers' this year and had SO much fun!  They have children close in age to ours and they really enjoyed playing with each other!  We loved playing in the sand, catching crabs, eating delicious seafood, and spending time together!  This will probably be our only trip of the summer with the new baby coming, so we tried to soak it all in and savor every second.

You can see how easy it was to get good pictures of them on the beach...ahem, insert sarcasm.

Strawberry Pickin' 2015

Mark had a day off a couple of weeks ago, so we decided that it would be a good day to go pick strawberries.  Haisley loved it and especially enjoyed holding the strawberry bucket.  Benton loved it for about 5 seconds, then was running all over the strawberry patch.  They both thoroughly enjoyed eating the strawberries, we even made shortcake and cobbler with them!
