Haisley's "Party"

This year I swore up and down that we were not having a party.  After a friend had a party at Cici's, Haisley wanted to have a party there as well.  So, off we went.  We went to Cici's with friends and Haisley LOVED it!  She talked about it for several days after too!

The next day at Chapel, they sang the sweetest song to Haisley and she loved the attention, but you could see a little bit of her shyness coming out!  I also brought cupcakes for her sweet little class!

So we basically celebrated Haisley's birthday for a week.  On her actual birthday, JJ took us to IHOP.  We had a blast!!

Happy birthday sweet love bug!  We are beyond thankful that you were born!!

Benton's Big Boy Bed

This little fellow started sleeping in a big boy bed about a week ago.   He has been doing pretty good overall.   He does think he can come and go out of his room as he wishes,  which can be disastrous with trying to get Camille to sleep.   Talented Mark built his bed,  so impressive!   Next on the list is bedding....

Might I also add that Benton is as funny as he is WILD!  He keeps us laughing and running,  basically on our toes!
He is cutting his 2 year molars and he has been a nightmare,  if we are being honest!   He still takes a 2 hour nap per day, praise the Lord!  He brings lots of laughter to our lives and he we love him so!   His sisters think he is pretty great too!

Haisley Grace is 4!

My baby girl, who made me a mommy, is 4 years old.  4. Years. Old.  My word, I cannot believe.  This sweet thing is so full of life!  Little things make her so happy and I LOVE that about her.  Haisley is seriously the BEST big sister, Benton and Camille adore her.  She has the most tender heart and cares for others.  When she knows she has done something wrong, she will (most times) come to me after and confess what she has done.  She wants to please us, has a generous heart and we love her to the moon and back.  Haisley can also get a bit of an attitude, she knows what she wants and how she wants it.  In my opinion, that is not an altogether bad thing.  Haisley has a huge vocabulary, sometimes I am shocked at what she says and remembers.  We couldn't have been blessed more when God blessed us with this angel!

A few updates on our doodlebug...
Size:  Haisley is still a little bit.  She weighs about 30 lbs and is in mostly 3T clothes.  She wears about 8.5 shoe.  I'll update her exact weight and height after her 4 year doctor's appointment.

Eating:  This girl is an extremely healthy eater.  She loves all fruit, veggies, string cheese, and of course, she loves sweets.  I will say that she isn't a huge meat eater.

Sleeping:  She sleeps wonderfully at night.  We say our goodnight stuff and she goes to bed.  She sleeps from about 7-6:30ish, or until a sibling wakes her.  She doesn't take naps everyday anymore, but I do make her "rest" in her room everyday.  She can read, or really do whatever she wants, as long as it is quiet.

Hobbies:  Haisley takes gymnastics and seems to really enjoy it.  She has been begging to take ballet, which we will probably sign up for in the fall.  She loves to play dress up, dance, cook with mommy, play with friends, go to Sam's, and loves to be on the go.

Camille at 5 Months

This little Pumpkin Pie is 5 MONTHS!  5. Months.  I absolutely cannot believe that my baby is growing so quickly.  She is a pure delight and brings immense joy to our family!  She has the sweetest demeanor, rarely cries, and gives her smiles so easily.  Camille loves watching Haisley and Benton run around acting crazy, and they certainly love her too!  Some other updates on this precious angel.

Size:  I'm not exactly sure how much she weighs.  She had her 4 month checkup a couple of weeks ago and weighed 12 lbs, 2 oz, so I'm guessing between 12.5-13 pounds.  She wears a size 2 diaper, and is in 3-6 month clothes.

Teeth:  None yet, but a good bit of drooling.

Eating:  Camille nurses every 3-4 hours.  I'm not sure how much she is getting because of breastfeeding, but when she gets a bottle, we put 4 oz in it and it seems satisfied.  We won't be giving her solids for a couple of more months.

Sleeping:  Sleeping is going too good to be true.  We started letting her cry it out a little bit the last couple of weeks, and she literally cries like 2 minutes, we go back in and put her paci in her mouth, and she goes right to sleep.  Sometimes we don't even have to go back in there....Amazing.  We are not a solid sleep schedule at this point.  She still takes cat naps in the car, so she doens't have definitive naps at home.  She goes to sleep about 7:30 at night and generally sleeps until about 4, then goes back to sleep until the other babies wake her.  She no longer sleeps in a swaddle either.

Tricks:  Camille is rolling, talking up a storm, smiles like crazy, jumps in her jump-a-roo, and just today has started holding her arms out for her mommy and daddy.

We love you beyond words, sweet one!  You are so precious and we are so grateful that God gave you to us!!

 Big sissy loving!

Standing up a little bit to play on her block.

She loves swinging these days.

Benton is Potty Training

This little guy is growing up way too fast.

In fact,  he decided a couple of weeks ago that he wanted to be potty trained.  He is doing an outstanding job and only having a few accidents.  We are so proud of you,  Benton Boy!

Camille ' s 4 Month Stats

My sweet Camille had her 4 month well check today.   It was more like a 5 month appointment,  but Anyhoo here we go. ..
Weight:  12 lbs 2 oz ....6%
Length:  23.5 in...7%
Head Circumference:  16 in....40%

She's is our smallest baby yet.   I would be interested to know how much she weighed when she was actually 4 months, not 5.  The doctor want worked at all and said she was growing perfectly.   So thankful and blessed to have healthy babies!

Baby girl had to be bundled for her appointment!
