Christmas in a RR Town

So, like most ideas I have, going to Christmas in a Railroad Town sounded SOO much better in theory than it did in real life.  I love to do fun things with our babies because I want to make memories with them, but it is very difficult with a 3, 2, and 3 month old.  Benton wants to run away and Haisley gets so excited that she is hard to contain.  With all that said, we went, along with everyone else in the Auburn Opelika area.  The kids had a blast, but Mommy and Daddy were worn out after chasing the kiddos all over the place!

 These glow in the dark necklaces caused all sorts of drama.  Haisley got 2, Benton only got one.  Benton lost his, Haisley shared her extra.  They both lost the attachment that made them into necklaces, so they became whips.  Needless to say, they were thrown away promptly after bed.

Fantasy in Lights 2015

My older babies had a BLAST at Fantasy in Lights this year.  They were so excited, they could hardly contain it, especially Haisley.  We knew that they would be because they love seeing the lights around town.  Benton kept saying, "I see more."  When Snowflake (the fake horse) would make any sounds, he said, "I hear it."  So funny and precious!  We also got to sit in Santa's lap...all 5 of us.  Haisley and Benton were scared, so it turned into a family picture.  Benton did manage to tell Santa that he wanted a ball.  We had so much fun and are so thankful that Nana and Granddaddy got to come too!

Haisley's Christmas Program

Haisley had her Christmas performance at school and it was absolutely adorable!!  Her class sang "Away in a Manger" and all dressed up like manger animals.  Haisley was a lamb.  She didn't sing much, but did some of the motions and smiled from ear to ear!  We are so thankful that we are at a preschool that is centered around Jesus!

Haisley and Benton had their Christmas parties at school today.   It was not shocking at all when Benton  immediately left his class party and opted to go to Haisley's party instead.   They had so much fun eating and playing with their friends.

Trimming the Tree

I have been so sick with a sinus infection, so it has taken us quite a while to get decorated for Christmas.  It has been so fun decorating this year because Haisley is totally into it.  She carefully put ornaments on the tree and has just been in awe of everything Christmas.  Benton, on the other hand, was as destructive as he could be.  Camille basically nursed the entire time!  We all had fun!!

 I had just gotten done working out, that's why I look so cute....

 I made the mistake of telling the big kids that they could have hot chocolate while we decorated the tree.  That was a big mistake.  To start, it was hot.  Secondly, those are smocked pjs that I wanted them to wear on Christmas morning.  Benton spilled half of his cup on himself.

Thanksgiving 2015

This year, we went to farm this year for Thanksgiving.  It is safe to say that Thanksgiving is a lot different with 4 littles!  We had so much fun and it was so delicious.  We wanted to do our own Thanksgiving this year, so Friday I cooked Thanksgiving for just our family.  I think next year we are going to do steaks instead of turkey!  We have so much to be thankful for this year!  We are blessed beyond measure!
