Tailgating 2014 (Benton's 1st Experience)

Tailgating 2014 started off with a BANG!!  Both children were under the weather and it poured down rain!  BUT, nothing was going to stop us from enjoying the first game of the season!  We walked from our house to the tailgate spot and enjoyed playing with Nana and Granddaddy!

Sweet Cousin Hunter came by for a visit!  He even rocked Benton Boy for a bit!!

All the tailgating can really wear the kids out....Momma too!

Luckily, we were able to go into one of the buildings when the weather got really bad!
Did I mention our babies were sick??  Benton had an allergic reaction to the antibiotic that he was on for an ear infection.  To top it all off, Haisley started throwing up when we got home.  Fun times!!
My little Cheerleader!

 Sweet love bug angel baby!!

Sweet Nana and Granddaddy got Benton Boy an Auburn hat!!

Haisley was not thrilled to be held by anyone but Mommy.
This is usually how it goes at our house...Momma holding both.
Nana and Grandaddy with 3 of the grands! Haisley was not feeling her best and was not on board with picture taking!!

Benton Boy is 10 Months

Our sweet Benton Boy is 10 months old.  He is an absolute doll!!!!  He is so calm and easy going, unless he is sleepy.  He is getting more attached to mommy these days!  He has the most adorable little laugh you have ever heard...melts my heart!  Benton and Haisley are starting to play with each other even more than last month, one good thing about them being close in age!

Eating:  This sweet baby has not eaten baby food in a while.  He does an absolute EXCELLENT job of feeding himself, which really helps this momma out!  He loves just about anything.  Some of his favorites are blueberries and graham crackers, basically anything.  He is down to nursing one time a day, and I will probably phase that out in the next week or so.  He is still getting breastmilk in a sippy cup.  I normally thaw about 20 oz a day.  He doesn't always drink all of that, but it is a ball park!  That sweet baby has only had about 2 bottles his whole life.  I didn't want to start them this late, so we transitioned right to a cup!

Size:  He is a chunk! I think he weighs about 21 pounds, he is in 12 month clothes, size 4 diapers, and is almost as tall as Haisley!

Tricks: Our sweet boy has started clapping!  I think that he will take off walking anytime now!  He loves crawling and is much more into everything than Haisley was.  She was always right under me, whereas Benton is not afraid to escape somewhere by himself.  He has found the toilets!  I constantly find him in the bathroom trying to stick his hands in there...gross!  He is cruising on furniture and even standing by himself for a few seconds at a time.  Benton can even bounce a ball!  So proud of that little boy!

Talking:  Benton can say dada, mama, and baba (bye bye).

Sleeping:  Sleeping is going monumentally better.  We have been putting him in his crib awake, and he usually goes to sleep with minimal fussing.  We normally try to hold off his bedtime until 7, but normally we don't make it that late.  He still wakes up some at night, but we try not to get him, and definitely don't feed him back to sleep.  He sometimes takes an early morning nap.  On good days, I can get him and Haisley to nap in the afternoon at the same time.

Teeth:  6 total, 4 on top, 2 on bottom.

My baby girl is 2 and a half!!

My sweet baby girl has turned into a little girl.  It happened so quick.  Haisley is strong-willed, does not love to obey, funny, and always seems to say the right thing at the right time.  She has quite the personality.  We love our sweet girl to pieces!
She weighs about 26 pounds and is mostly in size 2T clothes.  She is potty trained, for the most part!  She has been going to CDO at AUMC two days a week and will start preschool at AUMC in the fall. Haisley loves to play with her friends, eat, and talk!

Pictures speak 1000 words, so here we go!
